Dans ma série d'articles sur le problème des armes aux USA, il m'a semblé intéressant de jeter un coup de projecteur sur les MDA, qui ont été particulièrement actives sur ce thème et notamment récemment avec leur campagne de posters/ e-cards à envoyer à qui de droit (voir Let's make the most of it!).
En préambule vous pourrez lire les objectifs de cette association, vous pourrez ensuite découvrir leurs actions à travers vidéos, campagnes publicitaires et articles sur le net et ailleurs.

"The Other Easter Egg Hunt," spotlights the Kinder Surprise Eggs, a chocolate candy eggs with a small toy surprise inside, that is banned in the United States because it presents a potential choking hazard for children.
It features Jennifer Hoppe, Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America's Washington D.C. Chapter Leader, who points out the hypocrisy of banning a candy treat to protect children, while not banning assault weapons like the AR-15, used in the Sandy Hook Elementary School Shootings in Newtown, CT in December.
"How Many More Rounds?" : Moms Demand Action has launched a campaign to drive support for new and stronger gun laws in America in the aftermath of the massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary School in 2012. The video, "How many more rounds?," is an emotive depiction of the damage caused by gun violence. An AR-15 assault weapon is fired in slow motion with each discharged shell casing representing a major shooting in America. The video ends with the message, "How many more rounds are we going to let this go on for?" along with a phone number to the Congress switchboard.
